At Medvance, we offer individualised weight management consultations, with ongoing review and support where appropriate.
Our consultation fees and appointment options are currently being finalised. Full pricing will be published before bookings open in November/December 2026, so you can review the costs before making a booking.
Initial weight management consultation
A comprehensive appointment for people new to Medvance. It may include:
Review of your medical and weight history.
Discussion of previous treatments and current medication.
Assessment of relevant lifestyle and cardiometabolic risk factors.
Review of available blood results and discussion of further investigations, if indicated.
Discussion of suitable treatment options.
Development of an individualised management plan.
Duration and fee: to be confirmed before bookings open.
Follow-up consultation
For existing patients needing ongoing review. This may include:
Review of progress, treatment response and side effects.
Discussion of nutrition, physical activity and other lifestyle measures.
Review of relevant health measurements or investigation results.
Adjustment of the management plan and follow-up arrangements.
Duration and fee: to be confirmed before bookings open.
What is charged separately?
Consultation fees cover the appointment and clinical assessment. Unless clearly stated otherwise in the booking information, the following costs are separate:
Medication, if clinically prescribed: purchased and paid for separately at a registered pharmacy. The cost varies by medication, strength and pharmacy.
Blood tests or other investigations, when clinically indicated: any additional charges will be explained before arranging them.
Additional consultations or external specialist care: charged separately where applicable.
A consultation does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.
Face-to-face and video appointments
Face-to-face appointments are offered at our Wigston clinic. Secure video appointments may be available where clinically appropriate; some patients will need in-person assessment or further verification.
Booking information
Online bookings will open in November/December 2026. Consultation prices, appointment durations and booking terms will be available before payment. Please check back soon for availability.
